Freshman Fresno City Councilman Clint Olivier is moving forward with a possible Congressional campaign. Olivier tells me he’s not officially a candidate yet, but he has formed an exploratory committee, hired a campaign consultant, and has supporters ready to finance a run for Congress. Olivier would not identify those financial backers at this time.
If Olivier declares his candidacy, he’ll be seeking the Republican nomination in next year’s primary for the new 16th Congressional District seat. A successful primary run would pit Olivier against Rep. Jim Costa of Fresno who is expected to run for the new Congressional office. Olivier has hired local veteran political consultant Tim Orman. Among others, Orman has guided Rep. Devin Nunes and former Congressman George Radanovich to victory.
This is my very first time i visit right here. I found so numerous interesting stuff in your weblog particularly its discussion.
